Walk around the world

An average person walks about 161,000 km in a lifetime- about 4 times around the earth… seems like a lot? Well nothing in compared to many migrations.

Human walk around the world in a lifetime and the Artic Tern yearly Migration.

The arctic tern flies an incredible 70,000+ km on its annual migration trip from pole to pole – the equivalent of three trips to the moon and back over its lifetime. This is the longest animal migration recorded.

An Artic tern can’t pack a sweater even though the South Pole is 30F colder than the North Pole (artic global warming)

More Had No Clue articles on the Poles:

No penguins in the north pole, no polar bears in the south pole.
