Dogs are red-green colorblind

Dog eyesight unlike humans is built in a way that helps it focus on its prey and discern motion faster than people. Even though they don’t see ass clear as humans(Anything below the 3rd line of the eye test chart would be a blur to a dog) , they operate great under low light conditions, au contraire of humans.

Dogs can see color, but their spectrum is a bit limited, vetenarians say they are red-green colorblind.

BTW, the eye test chart is called a Snellen eye chart.

A Snellen chart is an eye chart used by eye care to estimate visual acuity (sharpness)
