Shades of .. orange

Orange – the essence of Buddhism which is full of wisdom, strength and dignity.

Why do these tend to look different?

There are levels of buddhism, and as a monk takes upon  new rules and discipline, they tend to turn into darker oranges.

The robe is normally hung from the left shoulder, leaving the right shoulder bare,“taking the robe” became a regular expression for entering the saṅgha (community)

At the end of the day all Buddhist look for enlightenment  the truth of life.. the more unattached you become of earthly things you will reach this goal. Though meditation and clearing the mind, show you reach Nirvana,  the state of perfect peace and happiness reached by not wanting more than you have.

Siddhartha Gautama (The Buddha) reached enlightenment after meditating for forty days under his bodhi tree
