Language evolves and as new things come about, new words come out too.
These words, among a couple others, have achieved enough currency in English to be added to the latest (2011) printing of the dictionary.
- Beer pong: a game in which a set of beer-containing cups is placed at two ends of a table and in which a player scores by bouncing or tossing a Ping-Pong ball into an opponents cup from which the opponent then as to drink the beer.
- Bromance: a close nonsexual friendship between men.
- Parkour: the sport of tranversing environmental obstacles by running, climing or leaping rapidly and efficiently.
- X factor: a circumstance, quality, or person that has a strong unpredictable future
