Austria was the first country to use postcards (1869) and it responded to the need of  an easy, inexpensive way to send messages of small importance.

Nothing says “Hi I was thinking about you during my trip” like a postcard.

Regardless of all digital technology there is something romantic about receiving a postcard in the mail.

Deltiologists are postcard collectors.
